Minsk, Belorussia, February 25, 2010 — Alcatel-Lucent
(Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) signed a contract with Alternative Digital
Network, a Belorussian Internet service provider to supply Ethernet broadband
access solutions for the deployment of a next-generation network and the
provisioning of triple play services.
Through its cooperation with Alcatel-Lucent, Alternative Digital Network
will reshape its network infrastructure to enable the delivery of advanced
communication services for home users and corporate clients. Additionally,
Alcatel-Lucent’s innovative solutions based on Metro Ethernet will
enable the introduction of new multimedia services.

and data services available from an advanced and efficient communications
network. They expect flexible, reliable and affordable services and we

Alcatel-Lucent will supply Alternative Digital Networkwith its
OmniStack 6224 Ethernet Switches for the development of in-building and
distributed access networks, and its
OmniSwitch 6850 Layer 3 Ethernet Switches for the delivery of line-rate
gigabit switching and routing performance.
About Alternative Digital Network
Alternative Digital Network (operating under
Atlant Telecom and Shparki Damavik brands) offers broadband
Internet access based on ADSL and Ethernet technologies. By September
2009 its total uplink data rate equaled 700 Mbps. The company - with its
